Meanwhile the Monsoon is on its way to end we took the Trek to the Dhudkunda located in the Solukhumbu, Nepal. The monsoon this year hasn't end yet and there was no way we would postponed our plan as it was perfectly sheduled in the three days holiday luckily Saturday, Janaipurnima and Gaijatra. A perfect escape to freshen up the mind and soul. Dhudhkunda or Dhudpokhari is the hidden gem less popular and less explored place in the Solukhumbu region. it is a milky lake situated formed by glacier of the Numbur Mountain. Lake has the religious importance both in the Nepal's Hindu and Buddhist deities.

The best time to explore this region is between the March to may or September to December when weather is clear, with bright sun. These season are less crowded and needs tents and food need to be arranged as the place and route has no tea shops and loading facilities. You ma be lucky to find shepherds in the summer and rainy season as they will be grazing and installing there tents for there stay
We started our trek from the Takshindhu a beautiful village at around one hour from the Phaplu. We spent our night here in Takhsindu in on of the small home stay . From the Takshindu the way for the Lukla and Dhudkunda divides.
