IKIGAI - Book Summary

 There is the place in the Japan Okinawa where the life expectancy of the people is 100years and people there never retire.

The persons there follow IKIGAI - " Purpose of Life." and are believed what makes them live long.


It is believed that if person in the world follow the IKIGAI "meaning to life" he will never work but live the life. No better example to share than the Studio Ghibli founder Hayao Miyazaki who was so passionate about his work that he never took the off day from his work and worked even after his retirement. Making work as passion and reason to live.

So there are normally four types of people normally doing what they love, what they are good at, what can you be paid for and what the world needs. Ikigai is the combination of these four things your passion, profession, vocation and mission.

  The Eight day festival celebrated in the Kathmandu Begins in September with the erection of the wooden pole made of the Pine tree at HanumanDhoka, Basantapur.  The Kumari Jatra coincides with the Indra Jatra .The festival marks the beginning of the autumn. Dhudkunda ~ The hidden Paradise of Shepard's

Meanwhile the Monsoon is on its way to end we took the Trek to the Dhudkunda located in the Solukhumbu, Nepal. The monsoon this year hasn't end yet and there was no way we would postponed our plan as it was perfectly sheduled in the three days holiday luckily Saturday, Janaipurnima and Gaijatra.
