Chiwang Monastery Solukhumbu

 Located in the Chiwang Village in the  hill where we can locate or see in the Northen Hill face as seen from the Phaplu airport area. The elevation of the Maonastry is at around 3069m . It was built in 1923 , century old  and one of the oldest monastry in the Solukhumbu region.

Indra Jatra (Yenya Punhi)

  The Eight day festival celebrated in the Kathmandu Begins in September with the erection of the wooden pole made of the Pine tree at HanumanDhoka, Basantapur.  The Kumari Jatra coincides with the Indra Jatra .The festival marks the beginning of the autumn. According to legend, Indra disguised him as a farmer , descended to the earth in search of the parijat (Night Jasmine), a white flower his mother Basundhara needed to perform a ritual. As he was plucking flower at Maruhiti a shunken water spout at Maru, the people caught him and bound him as a common thief. He was then kept in common town square at Maru for the display. Dhudkunda ~ The hidden Paradise of Shepard's

Meanwhile the Monsoon is on its way to end we took the Trek to the Dhudkunda located in the Solukhumbu, Nepal. The monsoon this year hasn't end yet and there was no way we would postponed our plan as it was perfectly sheduled in the three days holiday luckily Saturday, Janaipurnima and Gaijatra.
